Nirma University is a private university located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It was founded in 2003 by the industrialist Dr. Karsanbhai K. Patel, the founder of the Nirma Group of Industries. The campus sprawls around 115 acres in a serene environment. The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognize the university. The institute received an "A+" grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Nirma University is ranked 21st in India with a score of 51.54.
