Admission to the B.Arch. programs is based on the results of the JEE Main exam. GATE scores and participation in the counseling process are considered in determining admission to NIT Patna's M.Arch. and M.Plan. programs. To enroll in the program of their choice at NIT Patna, applicants must pass the entrance exam and meet the minimum certification requirements.

Eligible Criteria

• Candidates must complete their 10+2 education with physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English as the required subjects in order to be admitted to NIT's B.Arch. program.

• An applicant must have scored at least 50% in their B.E., B.Tech or B.Arch. degree from an accredited university or institute to be eligible.
  
  

Selection Criteria

• The candidate's performance in the JoSAA counselling procedure, prior academic records, and other relevant factors are taken into consideration when allocating seats.

• Applicants who have successfully completed the ATE exam must register for the counseling process through the COAP portal.
