The in-house faculties of NIT Silchar are well educated with humongous work experience and adequate subject knowledge. 

The faculties hold doctorates in their relevant fields of study. This enables the students to get the concepts cleared at a ground-breaking level from scratch and enables the engineering graduates to explore much better when it comes to the immense knowledge of the subject matter experts.

Henceforth, the total number of faculty accounts for 210, with 95.71 percent of them holding Ph.D.s, and the faculty-to-student ratio stands at 01:17 proportionally.
