The National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (NIT Hamirpur or NITH) is a public technical university located in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, India. 

 

It is one of the thirty-one National Institutes of Technology established, administered, and funded by MHRD. It is awarded the best NIT in India by MHRD. 

 

NIT Hamirpur offers a comprehensive curriculum for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in various fields of architecture, engineering, pure sciences, and humanities.

The college was ranked 128 by the NIRF rankings, which was established in the year 1986 and holds about 320 acres of land, making the institution the best place to pursue their basic graduation and postgraduate studies.

 

It provides all of the necessary facilities and amenities, allowing students, staff, and faculty members to live a grand and sophisticated lifestyle on campus for the duration of their stay over a specified period of time.

The institution holds about 830 UG students, 56 PG integrated and 457 postgraduate students, wherein the management refused or else failed to offer dual degree courses along with PG integrated as well as PG 3-year and 6-year programs.
