The total number of students studying at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in Bhopal is 4396, of which 3581 are male students and 815 are female students. The boys' percentages add up to 81.46%, and 18.54% of them are the percentages for female students. 

At present, 2081 students have been admitted within the state or union territory; 2220 of them have been admitted outside the state; 95 international students have been admitted; 1137 economically backward students have been admitted; and lastly, 2178 socially challenged students have been admitted.
